Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off  -  11:00 AM
The Giant Pumpkins will return for the 8th annual Pumpkin Weigh-Off at Hicks Nurseries. The judging will be held on Sunday, October 3, at 11 am. Winners in previous years have grown pumpkins weighing 876, 920 and 1030 pounds. Prizes will be awarded to the top three pumpkin growers. In addition to the pumpkin contest there will be numerous fall activities underway at the nursery, including hayrides, farm animals, roasted corn, kettle corn, the Otto the Ghost story and Otto in person.
